Special Concern for the Protection of Children

Fawbush & Schulz is especially concerned with the protection of the privacy of children.  We urge parents to be fully involved with their children's activities on the web and employ parental control software to manage their children's access to the internet.  We do not allow anyone under the age of 13 to register with us, nor do we send email to anyone who we know is under 13 without parental consent.  If we learn that someone under 13 has provided personally identifiable information to the site, we promptly remove it.

Our Collection of Information About You

You do not have to share your personally identifiable information with us to to visit our website.  There may, however, be certain site functions, such as order processing and catalog requests, that are impossible for us to complete without it.  We do maintain a record of your orders.  We also may ask you and keep a record of your gender, occupation, personal interests, etc., in order to fine tune our offerings through knowing our customers.  The amount of this information you share with us is entirely up to you. 

How We Use Your Information

We use your personally identifiable information for the internal purposes of order processing, registration, statistical analysis to improve our services to you and the functionality of our website, and maintaining our mailing list.  We may also form business relationships with other persons or entities whom we have asked to confirm that their privacy policies are consistent with our own.  At such times, we may cross-reference and share data we have gathered including personally identifiable information about you, that will allow such persons or entities to contact you regarding products or services that may be of interest to you.

We use aggregate information (again, this is non-personally identifiable information) collected on the site and from other sources to determine how the site is being used and can be improved.  For example, we determine which pages are the most popular, what questions are asked the most often, and what customers would like to see more of in terms of products and services.

Managing Your Customer Account Information

You can edit your account information at any time by calling us or emailing us at customercare@fawbushschulz.com and letting us know what information you'd like to change.  Please be aware that some changes to your account, particularly if you are requesting to be removed from our mailing list could take several weeks to become effective.

Policy Changes

If we change this policy in any way we will post a notice on the site effective immediately.  The new policy then applies to all present and past users of the site and replaces any previous policies that are not in agreement with it.
